Mentorship Program - Mentee

Our lifelong mentoring program provides practical life skills and training to African American young women ages 13-23 with a focus on career development, college planning, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and budgeting, and mental and physical health. This program provides a safe space of positivity, love, acceptance, and support while fostering independence and good decision-making to help young women achieve greatness. 

Our program begins in the summer of junior year with an in person kick-off program followed by 9 virtual monthly mentoring sessions throughout the years to ensure you are on track to reach your goals. .Practice buddy mentoring with our two mentees to one mentor ratio to provide support in your transition to college. The program then holds a graduation ceremony in year two following graduation from high school. 

The relationship you build with your mentor will last a lifetime with monthly mentoring and planning sessions available to you throughout your adult journey.

Our lifelong mentor program provides African American women with Bachelor degrees as mentors for African American young women ages 13-23 with a focus on career development, college planning, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and budgeting, and mental and physical health. This program provides a safe space of positivity, love, acceptance, and support while fostering independence and good decision-making to help young women achieve greatness. 

Our program begins in the spring of the academic school year with an in person open house to recruit girls for the upcoming school year. We then transition to the in person kick-off orientation program followed by 9 virtual monthly mentoring sessions throughout the years to ensure your mentees are on track to reach their goals. Encourage buddy mentoring and communication between the pair with our two mentees to one mentor ratio to provide support in their transition to college. The program then holds a graduation ceremony in year two following graduation from high school.
